Announcement of Round 1 Winners on Monday

Dear Spark the Rise Community,
This has been an exciting round: The level of engagement, communication and passion on this site has exceeded all our expectations. We received an enormous amount of innovative, worthwhile projects – ideas which all deserve a detailed level of scrutiny and consideration.
As you know, we have been conducting extensive security checks to ensure that no fraudulent votes are included in the final vote counts. To ensure complete authenticity in the vote counts, we have made the decision to postpone the announcement of winners until Monday, October 3rd at 5pm IST, to allow our team to conduct further security investigations.
Please note that voting for Round 1 will still close on September 30, 2011 at 11:59:59pm.
Round 2 voting will go off as planned, meaning accepted Round 2 projects will go live and be eligible for voting on October 1, 2011.
We apologize for any inconvenience. However, rest assured that this is for your benefit – with such a large amount of fantastic project proposals under consideration, we need to make sure that the final product of the voting process is completely fair and secure.
