Submit a Project or an Idea
For this season of Spark the Rise, we’ve splitting entries into two groups – Projects and Ideas! This will make browsing entries easier and will ensure a fairer voting process for all. Learn more, get excited, and submit your own Spark!
The difference between Project and Idea
What’s a Project?
A project is something currently underway: an initiative that you’re pursuing, a product that you ave launched, or a program that is up and running.
A project must have
- Past results and history that you can point to and share
- A plan for how you intend to continue taking your project forward
- A team or organizing force behind it
What’s an Idea?
An idea is a work-in-progress: an opportunity you have identified and would like to pursue, but one that you still haven’t been able to launch.
An idea must have
- A clear purpose and vision
- A detailed plan for how you intend to pursue it
- An understanding of which materials, expertise, and capital you will need to bring the idea to life
