About the Idea
My idea and invention Watsave The Eco Friendly Water Saving Adapter is a mechanized universal water saving device adapter used in households for water taps or water faucets to use water efficiently by allowing the water to flow for only a certain period of time. This adapter controls the flow of water based solely on the user's needs by allowing the water to flow periodically based on the time set by the user. The adapter is made of plastic and is fitted to any universal and standard kitchen, wash basin or bathroom taps or water faucets. It uses mechanical means to control the flow rate and stop the water flow depending on the user preferences. The water saving device adapter includes a flow timer to set up the starting time for the flow of water, a hold timer to hold the flow of water, a The adapter works on water pressure and hence does not require electricity to power up and neither uses any sensor based technology.By using this low cost water adapter we would be saving thousands of litters of water that is normally wasted every day. Currently I have filed and own this patented idea that is currently valued at over 80 lakhs INR ( in terms of anticipated royalty revenue spread over 4 years ). At this stage require a grant for funding of prototype development and commercialization of my idea and invention.

How do you plan to utilize the grant
Should I be honoured with this grant I would engage a top company for cad cam designing, a top market research firm, endorsement from the government ( all of which have been lined up ). The only think stopping me is initial funding. Once this is done then its just a matter of findings suitable partner. My logic is that let's not re invent the wheel but find an existing entity that is already into this genre of products or industrial space. We can leverage on their technology and domain knowledge to build a physical prototype, then to enter their already set market space and clientele base with this product. What we get out is a percentage in terms of royalty, or could even out right transfer the technology. Other options include U.S. companies that take up both prototyping and commercialisation like Davidson that is based in the U.S. or even IP auctioning the idea. The idea has more value when it has a prototype in cad cam, physical prototype and in depth market research to back it.
Who will this help Rise
Who will benefit from my idea will be the common man and the average Indian family or household. Anyone that uses water for ablutions as well
As for dish washing etc., will benefit from this idea because they will save water. The honest truth is that a lot of us are irresponsible with the
Usage of water. How many of us are willing to turn off and on our taps hundreds of times a day ? Now my idea the Watsave Eco friendly water saving device would be the solution to saving water in every household. In fact this idea would not only be restricted to our houses but could even be used in commercial establishments, hotels, restaurants to save water. The uniqueness of this idea is that it works on simple cost effective technology with no expensive or sensory parts. Watsave could spin off into multiple ideas and products that could save water our most precious resource that is fast depleting.
How will this help them Rise?
Well my invention primarily targets the average Indian household. Whenever we visit a 5 star hotel or a Mall our taps have sensors on them that switch on and off automatically thereby saving water.
Did you know that as an average Indian for our ablutions or even dish
Washing we waste over 50 litres of water a day. And yet with water becoming scarce in the future what are we going to do about it. Presenting Watsave your low cost invention that would for a low cost be a water saving solution at every household. The unique ness of this idea and invention is that it requires no power, uses no sensors, no smart chips, and is low cost and simple to manufacture and easy to use, so whether your shaving, brushing, washing your hands or face or even washing your dishes you can do so but by saving precious water. Water is our most precious resource. Currently no such idea or invention exists and this Eco friendly environmentally friendly idea would save someday millions of litres of water.
Idea Milestones
What I require is funding for prototype development. I have plans to make a cad cam prototype first for which I have identified a professional company as well as the costs associated with the same.
Post this I think it would be best to develop a physical prototype and working model.
Simultaneously will have a competitive landscape analysis done for an ideal entity that one could engage with and commercialize this opportunity. This would generate royalty and income.
