Divya Jyothi Trust has been founded by a blind man who has gone through hardships to get educated without proper books and he wants to help others with similar handicap. Already computer education is being imparted to visually handicapped, by the Trust and a Braille Transcription Centre and Braille Library have been established. I have watched the people there closely and am convinced and impressed about the genuine concern and desire to serve. The project to provide free hostel facility is a step in the right direction, as it will help blind students concentrate on their studies without worrying about commuting from their villages to Mysore. This project surely deserves all help from public.

Divya Jyothi is a young foundation with highly motivated people volunteering their time and resources for the benefit of the visually impaired, with a long-term plan of expanding their services to more sections of differently-abled people in and around Mysore. Many of the volunteers and staff there are visually impaired people who work with professional competence and personal dedication. everything and anything you offer is going to help many.
