About the Project
Adhyay team started with a mission of providing free access to world class education for everyone who has some access to internet. Two most important factors behind poor quality of education are lack of skilled teachers and outdated curriculum and content. At Adhyay, we are making an attempt to deskill teaching process and fill the void caused by these two problems by employing a highly scalable technology platform that provides great learning experience though high quality courses, live classes and interaction with leading scholars. Use of technology makes our business model scale to any number of users, geography, country or languages at a very little cost.
Our solution consists of a central operation (hub) and a network of low cost learning centers in semi urban areas. Central operation is responsible for content creation, delivery mechanism and online operations, while learning centers delivers same content in offline mode on fee basis for students who do not have internet access.
Heart of our solution is high quality courseware and a web based delivery mechanism and collaboration platform to interact with preeminent educationists. Unlike traditional learning mechanism, our solution provides students the freedom to choose what they want to learn, when they want to learn and at their pace and without any fear. We offer live classes and YouTube video courses designed by preeminent educationists. We are trying to leverage open source model and social learning and our platform is available to thousands of great teachers and likeminded professional for free so that they can share their knowledge and coach students from anywhere in the world
Main sources of our revenue will be from education institutes and franchisees network that will use our platform and content, training and consulting to schools and also from our learning centers which operate of fee basis. We also plan to offer value added services and specialized courses to students on pay per use basis.

Who will this help Rise
Though India has more than 200m school going children but only 6% of these students continue to study at collegiate level. An independent study also highlights that more than 75% of these graduates are un-employable and one of the main reasons is poor quality of education.
Our primary users are millions of students from secondary and college level who would not have access to quality education otherwise. Our secondary users are schools and educational institutes who would want to use our content for their students

We are going to help millions of students from secondary and college level who would not have access to quality education otherwise. Our mission is to minimizing educational inequality by making high quality education accessible to every internet user for free and at a very low cost at our learning centers. We are going to help students and schools as –
1) Most importantly, students will learn in a not-threatening and collaborating environment; students will be able to choose from wide variety of courses interests them and they can take courses at their pace and time chosen by them
2) Schools and students will have access to world class content created by great teachers and professionals
3)Our courses are going to be free on internet and at a very low cost at learning centers. We believe we have a great opportunity to provide quality education for free
4) Our solution will not be dependent on highly skilled teachers to deliver our content

A good idea. But today the lack of quality exists more in municipal schools or in rural areas. It is almost 75% children population. Children from these schools, from poor background don't have access to internet or computer skills. Those having access are already going in 'better' schools or go for extra classes. So the project address the quality issue of education for those who already has resources for improving quality.

Hello sir,
I too have the same idea as you do...except my website will encompass everything from the needs of educational institutes to those of ordinary students. My website will provide educational content as well as a network for students and teachers and educational institutes to communicate with each other. And the best part is, it s partly completed... but I need more of volunteers and contributors who would help me in this endeavour and I look forward to work with you.
