Efficient Rail braking system using rubber tyres.

About the Project

Rail breaking system in India is not upto the mark. Considering the rails in India and not the metro rails. The plan is to take up rubber tyres which are used. Cut the rubber from the tyres so that they make up a rectangle shape which has size that fits below rail wheel. Put some strong glue on one side of the rubber and make sure it sticks on to the rail wheel. Once the patch of the rubber is sticked on to rail wheel it provides efficient way for breaking as there is enough friction between the two sources. Once the rubber wears off it can be replaced again. It helps us to recycle rubber tyres while passengers travel more safer.
