HELPING HAND, Spoken English and Call Center Training Institute

About the Project

In Pune, there are lots of call centers these days and I have observed that there are graduates/undergraduates who cannot apply for employment in call centers because of lack in English fluency, as they have studied from regional-medium based schools and colleges. They have a fear of English in their minds.

In this project, we are targeting youth, studied from regional-medium based school and colleges and aspiring graduates, who are below poverty and/or seeking career opportunities in the Call Center Industry. We are focusing to give them training of English speaking as well as providing Call Center Training Program for FREE with 100% job guarantee. This course will be of 3 months (90 sessions). We are collaborating with job placement companies/call centers to provide employment to these students. With this, we can help to reduce unemployment in youth and can change there lifestyle.

Our goal is to train and employ underprivileged youth through “Helping Hand”.

Who will this help Rise

The youth group from regional-medium based school and college, people who are afraid of speaking English, and poor and unemployed youth who wants to make career in Call Center Industry.

How will this help them Rise?

With this FREE TRAINING, we are attracting most of the youth and aspiring graduates who are seeking career opportunities in the call center industry. This will help to reduce unemployment in youth group and increasing criminalism because of unemployment. We are mainly targeting the students/graduates who are below poverty by searching them in rural areas and slum areas and helping them out with this employment, which can change their social lifestyle. So, automatically this is a ‘Helping Hand’ for Indian youth towards growth, progress, and better lifestyle. This is a long-term continuous program, so there is a great chance that we can build Indian economy for some percent.

Shashank Desai
I am Shashank Desai, basically from Pune itself. I completed my studies from Marathi-Medium school and joined Science Branch in Junior College. I faced a lot of problems with my studies as all subjects of Science branch were in English language. Then, I joined Spoken English classes and improved myself, but same was not possible with my friends because of their financial problems and this continued with their job opportunities because of their weak English. So, I can understand the problems of underprivileged youths who are studying/have studied from Marathi-medium school. With the help of this Mahindra Platform, this Spark can bring some happiness in poor youths’ lives.
