About the Project
The project is meant to use radio communication to achieve the following goals within the confines of a district :
1.The most significant task will be to provide people(mostly rural) with updated information about several running schemes and policies (via govt./ Non-profit organizations ) and how they can benefit from the same.
2.Educational support and updated information about various competitive exams along with valuable career guidance aided by frequent interactions with experts.
3.Improvement in healthcare by providing regular tips on health and hygiene along with frequent consultation with experts with special attention towards widespread or fatal diseases.
4. Providing expert advice and scientific know-how to the farmers.
5. Miscellaneous endeavors through health camps, career fairs, etc.
The reason to choose radio as our medium is because of its ability to reach even the remotest parts of India. Moreover it is portable and does not require continuous electricity.
The idea is to convert policies and paper works into reality. To achieve an efficient machinery where people get their due. We believe this can be achieved by creating an aware and interactive society, with increased co-operation and participation.
