About the Project

Rural BPO:

A plan on paper till August 2011..Now got implemented and thus, the first 25 seater delivery center came into existence in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh with a grand vision of disruptive expansion!!

With this venture, we are grooming and utilizing the latent rural talent to provide quality services (not just data entry!!) to the clients across the globe.
Our clients include one of the biggest E-commerce company in India!

Prior to their hitting the work floor, we train the rural youth qualitatively in communication and computer skills. They are provided with the salaries during this period also. Besides job, gaining knowledge and diverse experience is encouraged by distributing books and taking the teams to NGOs and outdoor locations nearby.

We are a team of four professionals (Core Team) who had been brought up in rural India but worked for various MNCs (mostly BPO companies) and the Government agencies. We share a common vision to provide our people in rural areas with ample opportunities to earn a respectable employment and that too by continue living in their own villages, their own homes.

We believe, we can make India shine only by taking jobs to people and not people to jobs.

We have a firm belief in the capabilities of our people and have learned this by experience that with trust and proper trainings, these people are very well outperforming their urban peers. They are far more hard working and curious then their urban contemporaries.

With this initiative of ours, we wish to create a difference in the lives of our rural youth, instill an unshakable confidence in their true potential and make them realize that "the land of opportunities" may very well be thier own village and not an illusionary cosmopolitan town that they wish to migrate to.

Our aim is to nurture the rural talent in their own backyard so that they keep enjoying the pure air and clean water and earn a respectable living in the process.

For our humble efforts in the direction of rural empowerment, we have been rewarded by IIT Delhi as one of the "most promising startups of 2011" and covered by the Hindustan Times as one of the "India's New Change Makers" in all its editions across India.

1Building Capabilities: Now, that we have started operations in Bijnor, we are keen to build capabilities in both voice and non voice processes. Training for voice (English) processes may require more time and patience and dedicated efforts but we are confident of great results.

2Expansion within U.P.: We aim to establish two more delivery centers and provide quality employment to at least 100 rural youths before the end of 2012.

3Expansion: Having visited several locations, we have zeroed down Himachal Pradesh as a major contender for the first round of expansion ouside of U.P. because of suitable work force and immensely suitable electicity supply sitation, which is one of the major expense in the BPO industry. No major rural BPO in Himachal Pradesh is also a major factor that helped us arrive at this decision.

Who will this help Rise

By this initiative, we plan to provide employment to our rural youth who have acquired elementary education and in the absence of proper job opportunites, have to migrate to urban areas and carry on with trivial and non fitting jobs.

How will this help them Rise?

We believe that there is no dearth of talent in rural India, only a lack of trust..We trust our people and their capabilities one hundred percent and with the right mix of trainings, guidance and motivation; we would instill a confidence in them that will help them discover their true potential. We are glad to have begun the process by starting our first delivery center in Bijnor, U.P.
